Slug Slayer
A physics action prototype built in under 24 hours, inspired by Rain World. Slide through dark chambers, hunt flocking mini-slugs, and escape before the rain floods the level.
Slug Slayer was built in under 24 hours for a school assignment, inspired by the movement and dark atmosphere of Rain World. You pilot an agile slug through complex chambers, hunting boid-controlled mini-slugs to open the drainage pipe and escape before the rain floods the level.
Impulse sliding controls: Aim with the mouse, right-click to apply physical impulse forces, and left-click to bite and eat mini-slugs.
Boids AI and steering behaviors: A custom flocking algorithm lets mini-slugs swarm, evade the player, and steer through corridors.
Rain World inspiration: Wobbly creature physics, atmospheric rain, and a survival theme, all made in a single day.
Rising water hazard: Survive each room under a strict time limit as torrential rain floods the map.
